In 2018, Portugal was the number 25 in the ranking of the world's biggest Antimony Importers, with the Netherlands being ahead of Portugal at 26.62 Kilograms. China, Thailand and India respectively ranked numbers 1, 2 and 3 in this ranking. Portuguese exports of antimony are set to reach 94,070 kilograms by 2026, down 1.4% from 2021's figure of 101,950 kilograms. This marks a five-percent increase year-on-year since 1994. The Netherlands was the top exporter in 2021 at 101,950 kilograms, followed by China, Thailand and India. Portuguese imports of antimony fell by an astonishing 99.2% in 2018, from 3,460 kilograms in 2017, to 26.62 kilograms. This marks a 52% decrease since 1993. In 2018, the Netherlands was the biggest importer of antimony at 26.62 kilograms, followed by China, Thailand and India.
