The country ranked number 23 in 2018, with Japan being the leading importer with 114,450 Kilograms. China, Thailand and India respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Dutch antimony exports are set to plummet by more than half by 2026, falling from 116,270 kilograms in 2021 to just over 2,800 kilograms. This is a dramatic decrease compared to 1997 when exports were down 17%. In 2021, Japan overtook the Netherlands as the leading exporter of antimony, while China, Thailand and India ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, imports of antimony to the Netherlands saw a massive increase in 2018, rising from 62,620 kilograms to 114,450 kilograms. However, since 1997, imports to the country have decreased by 30%. Japan was the biggest importer in 2018, followed by China, Thailand and India.
