Moldavian imports of anthracite have dropped 24.4% in 2021, to almost 49 million kilograms, down from 64.6 million kilograms in 2020. This marks a 4.1% decrease since 1999. The United Kingdom topped the list with 49 million kilograms, while South Korea, Japan and Russia respectively came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The country's anthracite exports were also down in 2018, at 42,000 kilograms, a 4.6% drop from 44,000 kilograms in 2017. This marks a 4.1% decrease since 1999. The United Kingdom once again topped the list with 42,000 kilograms, while South Korea, Japan and Russia respectively came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
