Peruvian insulin imports are projected to reach $12.3 million by 2026. This is an increase of 2.9% annually from 2021's level of $10.3 million. Peru's demand for insulin has been growing by 3% each year since 1997. Peruvian insulin exports, meanwhile, are set to decline from $2.1 million in 2017 to $1.5 million in 2018. This marks a decrease of 28.6% compared to the previous year. Over the last 17 years, the country's supply of insulin has decreased by 66.4% annually. Serbia has now surpassed Peru with $1.5 million in exports in 2018, with France, Italy, and China occupying the next three spots in the rankings.
