In 2018, the Kenyan Vitamin trade gap was 299,580 Kilograms, compared with 646,610 Kilograms in 2017. Kenya's imports of vitamins plummeted by 45.2% in 2018, compared to the previous year, reaching around 400,000 kilograms. This marked a 4.7% decrease in imports since 1997. Exports of vitamins, on the other hand, rose by 23.8% in 2018, reaching nearly 100,000 kilograms. This marked a 26% increase in exports since 1997. The trade gap for vitamins in Kenya was approximately 300,000 kilograms in 2018, compared with nearly 650,000 kilograms in 2017.
