Exports are projected to rise 2.9% annually, reaching 6.1 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1993, Japanese demand for vitamins has grown at an average rate of 8.3% per year, while supplies have increased by 7.4% annually. In 2021, Japan ranked seventh in vitamin exports, with 5.16 million kilograms. China was the top exporter, followed by Germany, India and the United States.
