Global sales of vitamins are expected to reach $21.7 billion by 2026, down 1.8% annually from $24.5 billion in 2020. This is due to a 4.5% decrease in the market over the same period. The United Kingdom, Australia and India ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Lithuanian vitamin export is set to reach 602,000 kilograms by 2026, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year from 517,000 kilograms in 2021. This comes after a 4.9% rise since 1999. Lithuania placed 37th in 2021, overtaken by Guatemala's 517,000 kilograms. Germany, India and the United States took the second, third and fourth spots respectively. Meanwhile, Lithuanian vitamin imports are expected to reach 1.3 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.8% annually from 1.2 million kilograms in 2021. This is in spite of a 13.5% decrease since 1999. Lithuania was 40th in 2021, overtaken by India's 1.2 million kilograms. Germany, China and the United States were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
