Italian paper sales are projected to hit approximately €24.6 billion by 2028, up from around €23.7 billion in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 0.6%. The Italian market, however, has seen a decline of 0.6% per year since 2010. Despite this, Italy secured the second spot in the market rankings for 2023. Germany surpassed Italy in 2023, reaching €23.7 billion in sales. Following Italy in the rankings were Finland and France, occupying the third and fourth positions respectively.
