Cypriot paper sales are forecasted to reach €60.4 million by 2026, up 0.3% on the 2021 figure of €59.4 million. In the last decade, sales have grown 1.3% each year on average. In 2021, Macedonia overtook Cyprus to become the 31st biggest market, with Italy, France and Finland in the top four. Cypriot paper exports were zero metric tons in 2019, unchanged from the previous year. Since 1997, exports have plummeted 100%. Imports of paper to Cyprus are set to fall 5.3% year-on-year to 10,120 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, demand has decreased 10.2% year-on-year.
