The Albanian paper export industry is expected to grow in the coming years. From 2021 to 2026, exports are projected to increase by 4.9% annually, rising from 1,590 metric tons to 2,180 metric tons. This is a significant increase compared to the 59.5% year-on-year growth since 1997. Meanwhile, imports of paper into Albania are also projected to rise. From 2021 to 2026, imports are expected to increase by 2.9% each year, growing from 15,330 metric tons to 18,210 metric tons. This is a somewhat slower rate of growth than the 5% year-on-year increase seen since 1997.
