Chilean imports of prescription glasses have seen a significant drop in 2023, plunging to approximately $7,200. This marks a dramatic 55.2% decline from the $16,000 recorded in 2022. The import demand for these products in Chile has been on a downward trend since 1995, with an average annual decrease of 24.4%. On the export front, Chile's figures also show a reduction. In 2019, the country exported around $470 worth of prescription glasses, down 23.1% from roughly $610 in 2018.
