On the import front, Slovakia's prescription glasses imports stood at roughly $1,140 in 2018, a significant decrease from about $1,870 in 2017. This represents a 38.8% drop compared to the previous year. Since 1999, the demand for imported prescription glasses in Slovakia has been on a downward trajectory, declining by 31.4% annually.
