Key Market Indicators
This is according to a new report released by the Venezuelan Ministry of Health. The rate of maternal mortality is predicted to decline steadily over the next five years, with a 0.2% decrease year-on-year on average. Since 2005, the demand has been steadily decreasing, with no year-on-year growth. The report also showed that the number of births in Venezuela has decreased by 24% since 2005. This suggests that the decline in maternal mortality is largely due to a decrease in the number of births, rather than improved healthcare.
