The report highlights that the South Sudanese Maternal Mortality Rate is set to reach 4,570 deaths by 2026, up from 4,500 deaths in 2021. This is an average growth rate of 0.3% year on year. The World Bank report also shows that South Sudan's demand for maternal health services has been rising consistently since 2005, with an average year on year increase of 0.9%.
