Kenya is set to reach 3 million malaria cases by 2026. This is an increase of 2.3% annually since 2007. Last year, the country had 2.6 million cases, putting it at 15th place in the ranking. Mali was ahead with 2.6 million cases, while Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Mozambique ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. In 2015, Kenya's malaria treatment coverage was 27.1%, compared to 27% in 2014.
