Since 2005, Ivorian demand has grown 8% on average each year. In 2021, Angola overtook the Ivory Coast to become the 12th-highest country in terms of malaria cases, with 5.4 million. Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Mozambique came in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
