Ghana is set to experience a 3.1% year-on-year rise in malaria prevalence, with an estimated 7.2 million cases by 2026. Since 2009, the demand for malaria treatments in the country has increased by 5.5% annually. In 2021, it ranked 10th in the world, with 5.9 million cases. Zambia took the top spot, with Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Mozambique following in second, third and fourth place respectively.
