This is a decrease of three cases. The Saint Lucian Ministry of Health reported a drop in Tuberculosis cases in the island nation. In 2014, there were 6 reported cases, a decrease from 9 cases in 2013. This marks a decrease of 33 percent since the previous year. The Ministry of Health is taking measures to continue to reduce the prevalence of Tuberculosis cases in Saint Lucia. The Ministry has implemented a number of programs and initiatives to increase awareness about the disease and the need for prevention. The Ministry is also working to ensure that those who are diagnosed with the disease are able to receive the necessary treatment and care.
