The number of tuberculosis deaths in Mexico is projected to decrease by 2.8% annually, from 1,880 in 2021 to 1,600 in 2026. This trend follows the downward trend seen since 1984, when the yearly rate of decline was 2.7%. In 2014, there were 21,880 cases of tuberculosis, a slight increase from the 21,310 cases reported in 2013.
