Russian TB prevalence declined by over 5,000 cases in 2014. The numbers have been decreasing since 1985, with a 12.1% drop year-on-year. According to the latest figures, 136,170 cases of TB were reported in Russia in 2014, down from 142,530 in 2013. This marks a 5,360 decrease in prevalence of the disease between the two years.
