Peruvian prescription glasses imports dropped 44.4% to nearly $20,500 in 2021, down from $36,840 the year before. This is the lowest level since 1997, when imports fell 12.3% year-on-year. Nigeria was the top importer of prescription glasses in 2021, with $20,500. India, Hungary and the Dominican Republic followed, taking the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
