This is a significant reduction from the $3.1 billion imported in 2021. Since 2016, Burmese prescription glasses imports have decreased by 38.4% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 71st in the world, behind Angola ($3.1 billion). India, Hungary and the Dominican Republic were the next three biggest importers.
