Pakistan had the highest number of child deaths in 2021, with 282,490, followed by India, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other countries. Child immunisation coverage has remained steady, at 56% of children aged 12-23 months by 2026. This is the same figure as recorded in 1986. Nigeria had the highest coverage, at 57%, followed by Greece, Mongolia, Latvia, and other countries.
