In 2021, Sweden was 136th in the global ranking, with Trinidad and Tobago coming in ahead at 309 deaths. India, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively in the same ranking. Immunisation coverage among children aged 12-23 months is predicted to remain steady at 98% by 2026, without any change in average rate since 1985. Sweden was 36th in the 2021 ranking, with Belgium ahead at 98%. Greece, Mongolia and Latvia rounded out the top four.
