Senegalese PVC exports dropped drastically in 2021. At 44,290 kilograms, the amount was 32.8% lower than the previous year's total of 65,940 kilograms. Since 2001, PVC export has decreased by 30.4% on average annually. Senegalese PVC imports, on the other hand, are expected to reach 14.8 million kilograms by 2026 from 13.1 million kilograms in 2021. This is a growth of 1.9% per year on average since 2001, when the country's imports grew 3.4% annually. In 2021, Senegal placed 77th in the world ranking, with Uganda just ahead of it at 13.1 million kilograms. China, Italy and Germany were the top three countries in this ranking.
