Costa Rica's Polyvinyl Chloride import is forecast to grow to 52.3 million kilograms by 2026, a 1% increase from 48.6 million kilograms in 2021. The country ranked 42nd in 2021, with Switzerland taking the lead at 48.6 million kilograms. China, Italy, and Germany were numbers 2, 3, and 4 respectively. From 2017 to 2018, Costa Rica's Polyvinyl Chloride export jumped 290%, from 20,950 kilograms to 81,790 kilograms. Since 1999, however, the country has seen a 49.3% decrease year on year.
