Since 1999, the demand for PVC in Malta has grown at an annual rate of 3.6%. In 2021, Malta was ranked 101st, with 1.3 million kilograms imported. Angola overtook Malta in that year. China, Italy, and Germany respectively ranked second, third, and fourth in the PVC import ranking.
