Romania's import of Polyvinyl Chloride is set to grow 1.7% annually over the next five years until 2026, reaching 69.8 million kilograms. This puts Romania as the 32nd largest importer in 2021, behind Guatemala's 62.3 million kilograms. China, Italy, and Germany follow in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, the country's export of Polyvinyl Chloride jumped 20.7% in 2018, reaching 559 thousand kilograms from 463 thousand kilograms in 2017. Since 1996, however, Romanian supply of the material has decreased by 16.3% year-on-year.
