Indian Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) exports are projected to drop by 700,000 kilograms in the five-year period from 2021 to 2026, according to a new report. This will represent a 0.7% year-on-year fall in exports from 2021's 2.2 million kilograms. Since 1993, Indian supplies of PVC have grown 35% year-on-year. The report also suggests that imports of PVC into India will increase by 682.5 million kilograms in the same period, growing at an average rate of 4.7% year-on-year. This will take imports to nearly 2.7 billion kilograms in 2026. Since 1993, Indian demand for PVC has grown 29.1% year-on-year. China, Italy and Germany are the top three countries from which India imports PVC.
