Demand for Iranian polyvinyl chloride (PVC) imports is projected to drop sharply over the next five years. In 2021, Iran imported 28.9 million kilograms, down 3.9% from 2002. However, this is expected to fall to 19 million kilograms by 2026, a 7.3% decrease compared to 2021. The Dominican Republic overtook Iran in 2021, importing 28.9 million kilograms - making it the 55th largest importer of PVC. China, Italy and Germany took the top three spots, respectively.
