In 2021, the country was number 72 in the ranking of polyvinyl chloride exporters, from number 67 in 2020. China, Germany and India respectively took the lead in this ranking. Pakistani imports of polyvinyl chloride are forecast to reach 52 million kilograms by 2026, growing 2.6% annually since 2021. In 2021, the country was ranked 47th in the world, with Luxembourg coming in first with 43.8 million kilograms. China, Italy, and Germany took the next three spots, respectively. Pakistani polyvinyl chloride exports, however, decreased 63.3% in 2021 compared to the year prior, falling to 351,000 kilograms from 957,000 kilograms in 2020. Since 2008, exports have dropped 10.7% annually. In 2021, Pakistan was ranked 72nd in the world among exporters, down from 67th in 2020. China, Germany, and India held the top three spots, respectively.
