Nepal's imports of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are expected to reach almost 24 million kilograms by 2026, up from nearly 20 million kilograms in 2021. This marks a three percent year-on-year increase. Since 2014, the country's demand for PVC has grown by an average of 7.7 percent each year. In 2021, Nepal was ranked 66th in the world for PVC imports, with Lebanon overtaking it at 19.5 million kilograms. China, Italy and Germany were second, third and fourth in the ranking, respectively.
