Qatari polyvinyl chloride (PVC) imports are on the rise. In 2021, the country imported 23.8 million kilograms of PVC, ranking 61st in the world. This marks a 14.1% year-on-year increase since 2010. Austria overtook Qatar in 2021, importing 30.2 million kilograms. China, Italy, and Germany took the top three spots, respectively. The demand for PVC in Qatar is expected to grow at an average rate of 3.8% year-on-year, reaching 30.2 million kilograms by 2026.
