Jordan is set to import 1.98 million kilograms of methanol by 2026, a 2% year-on-year average rate increase from its 2021 level of 1.76 million kilograms. Demand for the product has jumped 6.2% year-on-year since 1999. Exports of methanol from Jordan are expected to fall to 54,070 kilograms by 2026, a 14.6% year-on-year average decrease from the 2021 level of 131,180 kilograms. Since 2002, supply of the product has grown 32.1% annually. In 2021, Jordan ranked 57th in terms of exports of the product; Uruguay came in first with 131,180 kilograms. Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
