UAE's methanol exports are set for further growth over the coming years. By 2026, the total amount of exported methanol from the country is expected to reach 38.3 million kilograms, up from 30.6 million kilograms in 2021. This represents an average growth rate of 3.8% year-on-year. Since 2012, the UAE's methanol exports have grown by 20.5% year-on-year. In 2021, the country was ranked 24th in total methanol exports. Slovakia came ahead of the UAE at 30.6 million kilograms. Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States followed, ranking second, third and fourth respectively.
