British xylene exports are set to plummet by almost 50%, from 14.3 million kilograms in 2021 to just over 400,000 kilograms in 2026. Since 1998, the country's supply has decreased by 16% each year. In 2021, it ranked 13th in the world, with Israel ahead at 14.3 million kilograms. Singapore, the US and the Netherlands were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Imports of British xylene dropped dramatically in 2018, from 7.7 million kilograms to 115,000 kilograms, a decline of 98.5%. It ranked 38th compared to the previous year, with Sri Lanka ahead at 115,000 kilograms. Germany, Italy and Belgium were second, third and fourth respectively.
