In 2018, Estonia's xylene imports plummeted by 98.6%. The country came in 98th place, behind Iceland, which imported 9.87 kilograms. This was a drastic decrease compared to 2017's 685.7 kilograms. Since 2000, demand for xylene has decreased by a staggering 66.7%. Belarus overtook Estonia in the rankings, with 55.43 kilograms. Singapore, the United States and the Netherlands followed, ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Germany, Italy and Belgium were 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the rankings, behind Iceland.
