In 2018, Ukrainian demand for Xylene was close to 5.9 million Kilograms, up 178.5% from 2017. Bulgaria came in at number one with 5.9 million Kilograms, overtaking Ukraine. Germany, Italy and Belgium followed in the ranking, with the latter country being the fourth largest consumer of the product. Ukrainian exports of Xylene saw a 155.2% increase in 2018, reaching 3.2 thousand Kilograms. This is compared to 1.3 thousand Kilograms in 2017. The United Arab Emirates took the lead in this ranking, with 3.2 thousand Kilograms. Singapore, the United States and the Netherlands followed in the ranking, with the latter being the fourth largest exporter of the product. Since 2003, Ukrainian exports of the product have declined by 2.6% year on year.
