Uganda is set to see a slight increase in agricultural area by 2026. The country's agricultural area was at 7.05 million hectares in 2021 and is set to climb to 7.24 million hectares by 2026. On average, this works out to a 0.4% increase year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, Uganda ranked 34th in the world for agricultural area. Vietnam was ahead of them with 7.05 million hectares, while India, Russia, and China were respectively the second, third, and fourth biggest countries in the rankings.
