Norway's agricultural area is projected to decline by 0.3% year on year to reach around 779,670 hectares by 2026. This follows a downward trend since 1966, when the country ranked 112th on the list of agricultural areas worldwide. In 2021, Norway was surpassed by Namibia, with India, Russia and China respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the list.
