Italian agricultural area is set to decrease by 0.6% in the coming years, according to a report. In 2021, the country ranked 37th in the world with 6.3 million hectares, behind Uganda at 6.6 million. India, Russia and China came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Since 1966, Italy's agricultural area has fallen by 0.4% year on year.
