The country had 10.7 million hectares of agricultural land in 2021, and this is expected to fall to 10.4 million hectares by 2026. This decrease of 0.5% per year is in line with the average annual decline since 1966, which has been 0.1%. Poland was the 27th largest agricultural area in the world in 2021, behind Myanmar with 10.7 million hectares. India, Russia, and China ranked in positions 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
