Poland's agricultural area is projected to shrink slightly in the coming years. The country had 10.7 million hectares of agricultural land in 2021, and this is expected to fall to 10.4 million hectares by 2026. This decrease of 0.5% per year is in line with the average annual decline since 1966, which has been 0.1%. Poland was the 27th largest agricultural area in the world in 2021, behind Myanmar with 10.7 million hectares. India, Russia, and China ranked in positions 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
