Colombia has overtaken India to become the world's third-largest producer of coffee beans in 2015. The country produced 6.3 million kilograms (14 million pounds) of coffee, according to a report from the International Coffee Organization. This places Colombia behind only Brazil and Vietnam, which topped the rankings with 2.6 million and 1.7 million tonnes respectively. Germany and Japan were the next two largest producers, with respective outputs of 1.2 million and 900,000 tonnes.
