Demand for benzene in Thailand is set to grow by an average of 2.9% each year up to 2026, rising from 6.7 million kilograms in 2021 to 8.0 million kilograms. Since 1993, demand has grown a massive 511.6%. Thailand ranked 25th in 2021, with Honduras narrowly ahead at 6.7 million kilograms. The United States, Belgium and the Netherlands took the top three spots respectively. Thailand's supply of benzene is also predicted to increase between 2021 and 2026, growing 1.2% year on year. This would take the total from 583.9 million kilograms in 2021 to 634.5 million kilograms by 2026. Since 2002, Thai supply has increased by 2.5% annually. In 2021, the Netherlands took the top spot, just ahead of Thailand's 583.9 million kilograms. India, Germany and Japan followed in second, third and fourth position respectively.
