The Malagasy animal feed import is set to decline slightly by 1.1% to 11,318,000 kilograms by 2026. This is down from 2021’s figure of 12,064,000 kilograms and from 1995’s total of 3.6%. Belize overtook Malagasy in 2021, coming in at number 104 in the rankings. Germany, Belgium and Ireland came in at second, third and fourth respectively. Malagasy animal feed export has been in decline since 2017, dropping from 58,570 kilograms to 181.76 kilograms in 2018. This is a decrease of 99.7% compared to the previous year. Since 1995, the yearly decline has been 71.8%. Malagasy came in at 120 in 2018, with Albania placing ahead of them at number 121. Germany, Belgium and the United States ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
