Key Market Indicators
Tobagonian animal feed imports are projected to decline significantly, dropping to around 21 million kilograms by 2028. This marks a steep fall from approximately 31 million kilograms recorded in 2023, translating to an average annual decrease of 5.9%. The trend follows a historical pattern seen since 1996, where Tobagonian demand for animal feed has consistently decreased by an average of 5.3% per year. In contrast, Tobagonian animal feed exports experienced a dramatic increase in 2015. The country exported roughly 2.6 million kilograms of animal feed, a significant leap from the 525,000 kilograms exported in 2014. This represents an astonishing year-on-year growth of 396.4%. However, this surge in exports appears to be an anomaly in an otherwise declining trend. Since 1996, Tobagonian supply of animal feed has diminished at an average rate of 14.6% per year.
