The quantity of animal feed imported reached around 38 million kilograms, up from 36 million kilograms in 2017. This marked a 4.7% rise compared to the previous year. However, this growth in imports contrasts with a longer-term trend in demand. Since 2001, the demand for animal feed in Ghana has been declining, registering an average annual decrease of about 2.4%.
