Slovak Animal Feed Sales are projected to decline slightly, reaching approximately €171 million by 2028 from around €174 million in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 0.3%. Despite this downturn, the market had experienced a growth rate of 2.2% year-on-year since 2013. In the 2023 ranking, Slovakia was in the 24th position, overtaken by Bulgaria at €174 million. Germany, France, and the Netherlands ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively. In terms of exports, Slovakia's Animal Feed Export is expected to rise to nearly 37 million kilograms by 2028, up from 33 million kilograms in 2023, marking an average annual growth of 1.7%. This is in contrast to the period since 1999, during which Slovak supply fell by 0.6% year-on-year. In 2023, Slovakia was the 49th largest exporter, overtaken by Pakistan at 33 million kilograms. Germany, Belgium, and the United States held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import front, Slovakia's Animal Feed Import is anticipated to grow to nearly 242 million kilograms by 2028 from about 213 million kilograms in 2023, reflecting an average annual increase of 2%. Since 1999, Slovak demand has seen a robust growth rate of 4.3% year-on-year.
