This represents a remarkable 108% growth year-over-year. Notably, since 2008, the country's aromatic supply has been consistently on the rise, with an average annual increase of 66%. On the import side, Romania's demand for aromatics also saw a substantial uptick. Imports reached about $26 million in 2018, nearly doubling the previous year's figure of $12 million. This translates to a 117% growth compared to 2017. Since 1996, the country's aromatic imports have experienced an average annual increase of nearly 28%.
