Azerbaijan's import of aromatics saw a significant drop in 2019, plummeting to approximately $1,500 from around $3,550 in 2018. This marks a steep decline of 59% compared to the previous year. Despite this sharp decrease, the long-term trend for Azerbaijani demand for aromatics has been upward. Since 2014, the country has experienced a steady annual increase of nearly 14%.
